In this class we will explore historical spell practices and look at the core concepts of Northern European magic. We will cover spell work, house wards, threshold magic, journey work and travel protection, as well as protective inscriptions. In this class we will discuss how the World Tree, plant spirits, ancestors, Wyrd, hamingja, and the land spirits can help empower your spell work.
A deep dive exploration into the art, symbolism, and energetic mechanics of advanced rune work. This advanced class is designed for practitioners who already understand the Elder Futhark (or another rune system) and want to expand their skills into complex rune construction, energetic layering, and practical magical applications. Students explore how runes interact, amplify, or counterbalance one another—and how to responsibly craft powerful bind runes, sigils, and runic formulas.
Step into the living traditions of the North and explore the deep-rooted relationship between people, plants, and place. This course introduces students to the herbal knowledge practiced across Northern Europe—drawing from Demark, Germany, and Anglo-Saxon traditions—to illuminate how our ancestors understood healing, land stewardship, and the spirit of the natural world. Through a blend of history, folklore, and hands-on practice, participants learn to identify key regional herbs, understand their traditional uses, and explore the mythic and cultural frameworks that shaped ancestral healing systems. Students will examine plant lore preserved in sagas, monastic herbals, and folk practices, while also developing practical skills. This class is ideal for herbal enthusiasts, spiritual practitioners, and anyone seeking a grounded, culturally informed approach to plant medicine. No prior experience is required—only curiosity and a willingness to reconnect with the wisdom of the land.
